We thought this sounded a very comprehensive package for a film and decided to supply the funding to bring it all together.

Find out more about Daniele

1. Who are you?
My name is Daniele and I'm a filmmaker/designer from Rome. I work as a freelance director/designer and I often team up with a group of people who are into cinema and visual arts. Together we founded the "Urban Team" to make short movies and music videos, which made "Notte Sento", the short movie that Seagate helped fund.

2. What's your creative mantra/motto?
I always try to see what's behind the surface of things. I like new and original storytelling techniques and unusual stories. Behind everyday life there's always some little extraordinary tale worth telling.

3. Who or what inspires you?
Directors such as Pedro Almodovar, P.T. Anderson, Woody Allen, photographers such as David LaChapelle, Annie Leibovitz, video makers such as Chris Cunningham, Michel Gondry... and many more!

4. How did you get the idea for your featured project?
I wanted to tell an unusual love story using a language that was both experimental and "retro", using the cinematography, the feelings of the characters and their peculiar way of living their lives.

5. What's next?
In conjunction with Urban Team, I'm writing new screenplays and in the meantime we are making digital content for web and TV.

6. Apart from your Seagate FreeAgent hard drive, what's your favourite creative gadget!?
My iPod.

7. What's the most precious thing you store on your Seagate FreeAgent hard drive?
Work files, footage, storyboards, production stills, graphic designs, and music...
